Morisset Rotary Club helps physically and financially with local community projects with sustainable, measurable outcomes and genuine community needs. There may be no greater or timely need than to provide people in the community against Covid-19 Virus. Particularly for those who may be elderly, frail or vulnerable. Morisset Rotary are pleased to provide assist ance to all of our community members by one means or another. Please give some consideration to which option suits and helps you best.
What are my options? Purchase /Gifting Masks are available for sale for $10 each. Click on the I’d like to buy/gift a mask to enter your order details for yourself, or maybe you’ll gift the benefit of a mask to someone else in need. The simple to use check-out takes all of the usual contactless payment methods. Postage Masks are primarily made for the local community where collection is free. Postage outside the are is $9 in an Australia Post prepaid package, which can fir multiple items. Recommend a Mask Recipient Morisset Rotary are committed to provide masks free of charge to the elderly, frail or vulnerable in our community who would otherwise go without and be placed at communal health risk. Maybe you know of a person(s) who could benefit from this assistance. If so, please make the need known and we’ll evaluate our ability to assist. The process is simple. We’ll need some contact information so that we can mobilize a response if the request fits the criteria. Either way, you will recieve feedback. Make a Donation Donations are gratefully accepted from the community to help us provide free masks to the elderly, frail or vulnerable. Become a Morisset Rotary Masketeer We have a number of local sewers and quiters who have been kind enough to help with sewing of the masks. Morisset Rotary can provide pre-cut kits ready to sew if you or your group have some time to volunteer for the benefit of the community. Remote Masketeer Remote sewing volunteers can obtain pre-cut kits ready to go from Morisset Rotary Club <HERE> if you are able to assist. Alternatively, if you have that special piece of fabric that you were looking for a use for and would like to have a go at making your own mask from scratch, click on the video (right) for a full description of the patern, cutting and sewing techniques you’ll need . Please note that it is recommended that materials similar to those recommended by NSW Health <HERE> should be used.
